1. Do I need to pay for my invoice in full when my aircraft is ready for pickup
Yes, we are COD and you may pay with credit card, check, or wire transfer.
2. Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, in certain circumstances a deposit for labor and parts is required and will be fully explained to you in advance.
3. Do you do oil sample testing.
Yes, at a nominal charge and the results are sent to you.
4. What type of transportation methods do you have
Please contact our CSRs at 530-759-6036 to schedule one of our pilots to assist. We have various options from Uber, taxi’s, rental cars, train, our staff, and use of our service cars. We also can pick up your aircraft or you can pick up our pilot and we will shuttle the aircraft back for service
5. Can I pick up or drop off my aircraft on the weekends or after hours?
Yes, during regular business hours on the weekend 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or using our drop box for your keys after hours (7 PM) during the week.
6. What is your hourly rate?
Please call 530-759-6036 for a flat rate and hourly rates.
7. What is the turn-a-round time for an annual?
We schedule 10 days or less. It depends on how many and what parts may need to be ordered, type of shipping and handling method along with any outside services. It also is dependent on the amount of time it takes to get approvals on work before we proceed repairs.
8. Are there any special conditions you require before you can fly my aircraft?
Yes, you must have current insurance, POH, updated original registration, and VFR conditions during daylight hours with an airworthy condition. We can assist you with a ferry permit if required.
9. Where are you located at Yolo County Airport KDWA.
We are located on the southeast side of the field with Davis Flight Support. See LOCATION on our website for maps and driving directions.
10. How do I inquire about pricing?
Call 530-759-6036 and you will be directed to the appropriate group such as avionics, service, hangars.
11. Can I supply my own parts?
We will require complete traceability on owner supplied parts and will change a nominal fee.
12. Do you do owner assisted annuals?
No, we are glad to answer any questions you have during the inspection process.
13. Will I be updated during my service?
Yes, and you can contact us during normal business hours for an update.
14. Do I need to bring my log books during my phase inspection or annual.
Yes, along with updated registration and POH.
15. Can I borrow a car while my aircraft is receiving service?
Please reserve if possible as cars are first come first serve.
16. I have an AOG issue, who do I speak with?
Please call immediately and let us know what you need assistance with and we will get the appropriate person to assist.  If after hours please call 530-759-6036 and follow the prompts for an after-hour staff person.
17. What are your business hours?
Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM with line service onsite until 7 PM.  We are available for aircraft pickup and drop off Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.  There is a drop box for after hour drop off.
18. Do you have an alcohol and drug test program for your safety sensitive positions?
Yes.
19. How can you support me in pickup and delivery of my aircraft for service?
Please contact our CSRs at 800-442-1333 to schedule one of our pilots to assist. We have various options from Uber, taxi’s, rental cars, train, our staff, and use of our service cars.
20. Do you offer fuel discounts for your service customers?
Yes, special discount programs are available to fit your specific needs.  Please call 530-759-8766 and ask for Gary.
21. Do you provide aircraft detailing?
Yes, some detail is provided during your service. Full wax and interior detail are available at a nominal cost.
22. Do you buy, sell or trade aircraft?
Yes, we have been buying, selling and trading aircraft for years and can assist you in searching for an aircraft or selling yours. We can also assist you when you pick up your new aircraft at the factory or provide advice on the purchase of a new aircraft. 24. Do you do flight instruction?
No, but we can direct you to local flight instructors.

25. Is there flight instruction on the field?
No, not at this time.
26. Do you do pre-buy inspections?
We support a pre-buy by completing a full annual inspection or complete phase inspection.

 

27. Do you have an area I can waiting area I can work in while my aircraft is in service?
Yes, we have high-speed internet along with areas in our main lobby to work, in our pilot rest area and we have a conference room available for your use.  You will also find showers, laundry, pool table and a full sleep room.  Crew cars are available also.
28. How close are you to Sacramento International Airport?
We are less than 25 minutes driving time to KSMF.  Our staff can provide transportation to the airport for you.
29. How close are you to the University of California Davis (UCD)?
We are less than 15 minutes driving time to the central campus.
30. How close are you to the State Capitol?
We are about a 30 minute drive.
31. Do you work with Savvy Aviation?
Yes, we have a long and established working relationship with Savy Aviation.
